The Simpson Road Home is located in Fort Gratiot, Michigan and is a single level wheelchair accessible home located in a quiet, established neighborhood.
Simpson is a six (6) bed home with large living and dining areas and a back patio with a retractable awning which is great for sitting outside on warm days.
Our staff has been specially trained to assist developmentally-disabled adults with physical handicaps. The training is always based on the needs of the individual and how to serve them best. The home is equipped with a full-home personal lift system to assist with mobility to anywhere in the home.
The individuals we serve are encouraged to participate in volunteer activities like recycling, March of Dimes Walk-a-Thon, Salvation Army Red Kettle Drive and other activities. They enjoy going to community events including concerts in the park, dining out, sports and going to the zoo.
Our residents are encouraged to be as independent as possible. Our focus is to help and support them in obtaining their personal goals.
